INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Note:
- If your computer runs satisfactorily now, it may not be necessary to install
  the software. To determine if you should update the software, refer to the
  Version Information section.


Manual Install

  1. Logon with a User ID with Administrator privilege.
  2. Execute OSV026WW.exe to extract this package onto the hard drive.
     The default extraction location is C:\DRIVERS\OSFIXES\VISTA.
  3. Go to the folder where this package was extracted in step 2.
  4. Execute Windows6.0-KB953834-x86.msu (for Windows Vista 32-bit) or
     Windows6.0-KB953834-x64.msu (for Windows Vista 64-bit).
  5. Follow the instructions on the screen.

UNINSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS


Manual Uninstall

  1. Logon with a User ID with Administrator privilege.
  2. Open Control Panel.
  3. Select "Programs", then "View installed updates" under "Program and
     Features".
  4. Select update modules listed under "Microsoft Windows" section.
  5. Follow the instructions on the screen.
