What This Package Does

The package provides the ShortCut Key functions for the following 
ThinkPad computers:

   - ThinkPad i Series 1400*

   *NOTE:
    Only the following Model/Type numbers are supported:
    2611 - 40x, 412, 452, 456, 47x, 49x, (43x's except 434, 435)

Installation Instructions
-------------------------
Notice: 
-------
 Before installing ShoutCut Key Utility package, run Add/Remove 
 Programs from Control Panel to remove the previous Notebook 
 Manager, if any.

Windows 98

   1. Start Windows 98.
   2. Extract the ShoutCut Key Utility package onto 
      the hard disk drive.
   3. Click Start, then select Run.
   4. Type in C:\DRIVERS\W9X\SCUTKEY\setup.exe in the Open box. 
      Then click the OK button.
   5. Click Next to continue with the setup program.
   6. Follow the procedure to complete the installation.

Windows Me 

   1. Turn on the computer, and then logon to Windows Me.
   2. Click Start, then click Run.
   3. Type C:\default_subdirectory\SETUP.EXE in the Open box, 
      where C:\default_subdirectory is the path to the files
      your extracted in the previous step.
   4. Press Enter key after providing the correct path.
   5. Click Next at the Welcome dialog box. The ShortCut Keys 
      Utility will be automatically installed to the C:\Program 
      Files\FnUtil\ShortCut Keys Utility folder. For best results, 
      accept the default folder for the files to be copied to.
   6. Click Next to start copying files to your system.
   7. Click OK to restart the computer.

Uninstall instructions 
----------------------
If the previous version is installed, follow the instructions 
below to remove it:

   1. Turn on the computer, and then logon to Windows Me.
   2. Click Start, then select Settings, then click Control Panel.
      Double-click the Add/Remove Programs applet.
   3. Select ShortCut Keys Utility, and click Add/Remove.
   4. Click Yes  to remove ShortCut Keys Utility.
   5. Click OK.
   6. Restart your computer and make the change effective.
