To install this package manually: 1. Start Windows 95/98 (APM). 2. Click Start, select Settings, and then click Control Panel. 3. Double-click the Add New Hardware icon. 4. Select Next, and then click No. 5. Select Other devices in the device selection menu. 6. Click the Have Disk button. 7. Select ThinkPad Ultrabay 2000 Hot/Warm Swap Driver with the correct path, and then click Next. 8. Click the Finish button to restart the operating system. Determining which version is installed Windows 95/98 (APM) 1. Start Windows 95/98 (APM). 2. Click Start, select Find, and then click Files or Folders. 3. Select the Name & Location tab. 4. In the Named: field, type in IBMBAY2.VXD. 5. In the Look in: field, specify Local Hard drives (C:,D:). 6. Click the Find Now button. Windows will now search your hard disk drive for ibmbay2.vxd. If the file is not found, then the IBM Utility Driver is not installed on your system. 7. In the Found part of the window, select the IBMBAY2.VXD file located in C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM. 8. Scroll the window to the right and look at the Modified column. The time stamp on the file will be the version number.
