This problem has been fixed. - (Fix) Drawings are not rendered correctly on some application programs. - (Fix) The resolution over 1024x768 cannot be set on the external monitor. - (Fix) The external monitor goes blank when the system is docked. - (Fix) The Windows taskbar disappears after switching monitors in high resolution display (i.e. 1280x1024 or 1600x1200). Installation Instructions ------------------------- NOTE: - Make sure that DirectX8 runtime modules have been installed into the system before installing this driver. DirectX8 runtime modules are available in Microsoft Web site. 1. Start Windows 2000 and logon with administrative privileges. 2. Extract the video drivers onto the hard disk drive. 3. Click Start and then clck Run. 4. In the Run dialog window, type C:\DRIVERS\W2K\DISPLAY\SETUP.EXE. Click the OK button to start the installation process. If you extracted the files to a different location, specify that location instead. 5. At the Welcome window, click Next. 6. At the Software License Agreement window, if you agree, click Yes. This will start the installation process. 7. At the Setup Complete window, put a check mark in Yes, I want to restart my computer now and click Finish. 8. Restart the system. Unattended installation ----------------------- This is for system administrators' use only to install some drivers on many systems at the same time. 1. Start Windows 2000 and logon with administrative privileges. 2. Extract the video drivers to the hard disk drive. 3. Click 'Start', then click 'Run'. 4. In the Run dialog window, type C:\DRIVERS\W2K\DISPLAY\SETUP.EXE /K (without reboot) or C:\DRIVERS\W2K\DISPLAY\SETUP.EXE /K /B (with reboot) to install the video driver. If you extracted the files to a different location, specify that location instead. Determining which version is installed -------------------------------------- 1. Click Start, select Settings, then click Control Panel. 2. Double-click the Display icon. 3. Select the Settings tab. 4. Click the Advanced button. 5. Select the Option tab. 6.
