Introduction
============
This package will fix an application error during rejuvenation of
ThinkVantage Rescue and Recovery 4.00.0117 on Windows Vista 64-bit
systems.

This package does not apply to any other version of Rescue and Recovery
or to any other operating system than Windows Vista 64-bit.


Downloading the package
=======================
1. Click the file link to download the file from the Web page.
2. When prompted, select a drive and directory in which to save
   the downloaded file.


Installing the package
======================
1.  Log on to your system using an operating system account with 
    administrative privileges.
2.  Click Start, then click Start Search.
3.  Type rnr4patch.exe in the search field, then click Search Everywhere.
    This will locate the file you just downloaded. 
3.  Double-click the rnr4patch.exe icon. You may see a dialog stating
    "A program needs your permission to continue". If you see this dialog,
    click Continue.
4.  Click Yes to install Rescue and Recovery 4.0 Patch, click No to cancel
    installing this patch.
5.  Click Next. The "License Agreement" window will open.
6.  Select "I accept the terms in the license agreement".
7.  Click Next. The "Ready to Install the Program" window will open.
8.  Click Install.
9.  After the InstallShield wizard installs Rescue and Recovery 4.0 Patch,
    the "InstallShield Wizard Completed" window will open.
10. Click Finish.


Unattended Install
------------------
Note: This is for system administrators' use only.
 
- At the command line, execute rnr4patch.exe with the /s /v"/qn" options
  (For example)
  [Path where the files were extracted]\rnr4patch /s /v"/qn"


Uninstalling the package
========================
Uninstallation is not available on this patch. 
Even user performs uninstallation at the "Programs" from the Control Panel,
updated files remain. You may manually remove the files after Rescue and
Recovery is uninstalled.  The files are listed below.
