Rescue and Recovery 4.21 Cumulated Fix 
for Windows XP Service Pack 3

The tvtrnr_fixpack421.exe corrects the following problems in
Rescue and Recovery 4.21 program when used with Windows XP Service Pack 3.

1. Supports creating Recovery disk to CD with splited WIM file.
2. Modifies a string error in RnR 4.21 on dialog and splash window.
3. Hides the MTM information in PDA when BIOS ID is ignored.

This Rescue and Recovery update might also work with other systems that meet the system 
requirements. However, no testing has been done with these systems and no support is 
provided for using Rescue and Recovery on any system other than those listed as a 
"Supported system."


System requirements
===================
- Update your system to the latest BIOS
- 1.5 GB of free hard disk drive space (required for installation)
- 512 MB of memory recommended
- Windows XP with Service Pack 3
- 8 MB of VRAM shared memory set in BIOS

Verifying the current RnR version
=================================
To verify the version:
1. Right click on the downloaded file and select Properties from the drop-down menu.
2. Select the Details tab.
3. The version will be listed next to the Product Version heading.


Downloading the update package
==============================
To download the RnR updated file, do the following:
1. Click the file links to download the files from the Web page.
2. When prompted, select a drive and directory in which to save the file.
   
   
Installing the package
======================
For Windows XP:
-----------------------
1. Click Start, click Search, then click All files and folders. 
2. Type tvtrnr_fixpack421.exe in the search field, then click Search. 
   This will locate the file you just downloaded. 
3. Double-click the tvtrnr_fixpack421.exe icon. 
4. Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the installation.

Silent install instruction
------------------------
For Windows XP:
-----------------------
1. Click Start, click Search, then click All files and folders. 
2. Type tvtrnr_fixpack421.exe in the search field, then click Search. 
   This will locate the file you just downloaded. 
3. Click Start, then click Run.
4. Type cmd.exe in the run field, and run the cmd.exe.
5. Type cd folder name in cmd.exe to get in the folder which has the tvtrnr_fixpack421.exe file.
6. Type tvtrnr_fixpack421.exe /s /a /s to install the patch in silent mode.
   There will be no message box during the whole install.
